Inclement weather, a blizzard, caused the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) to cancel its February 9 monthly meeting held in the Nazzaro Community Center.
NEWRA has not rescheduled this community meeting but will most likely add the February agenda items and requests to their Thursday, March 9 public meeting at 7 pm.
Voting items scheduled for February were:
Urban Core Development is seeking to construct a new five-story residential building which will include nine units, garage parking on the first level and a roof deck at 173 Endicott Street. The site is currently a parking lot at the corner of North Margin and Endicott Streets.
Cello Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless proposes to install a wireless communication facility on the roof top of an adjacent building on the property at 266 Commercial Street. The facility will be a part of a Cloud Access Network that Verizon Wireless is planning to deploy to provide capacity relief and improve network service in Boston. Voice and data coverage improvements.
A briefing on upcoming construction on the Charlestown Bridge was also part of the NEWRA agenda.
These and possibly other items of interest could be part of NEWRA’s March meeting.
