R.U.F.F. News and Notes

Happy 2017 to all of our RUFF Members! Apologies for the late update, RUFF has been very busy with planning and housekeeping this month. We have a couple fun events to announce and hope to see you there. We should be back on schedule with our newsletter in February. Hope to see you at one of the events below.

Don’t forget to keep sharing the RUFF group information, please share the events and our email INFO@RUFFBoston.org.

North End Dog Park Updates:

We have had some snow and mild weather. Please note that park maintenance does not provide for snow removal so in the winter months you should use best judgement when using the dog park.

Auto Locks – Please note that the park hours are 6:30am-9pm. The gates will be locked outside of those times. Since this is our first winter with the automatic locks, we will be testing how well they respond to the cold, ice and snow. We may encounter some issues and ask for your understanding. If you encounter any issues in the park, please email: INFO@RUFFBoston.org

Water: Water fountains will be shut off for the winter, please plan accordingly.

January Dates:

January 28th- PolkaDog and RUFF FUN! 2-4pm  PolkaDog is hosting RUFF and all our members for an afternoon of fun. Giveaways, food, beverage, doggie treats and discounts. Polkadog wants to get to know the local dog owners and our needs. Please come by and meet and get to know the great crew at the PolkaDog! Spread the word!

January 29th – 10-11am – Richmond Street Dog Run – Neighborhood coffee and doughnuts!  Come get to know other dog owners and enjoy some morning coffee and treats. Special thank you to our members on Richmond Street for organizing this event!

**RUFF Reminders**

Cold weather is here, please stay responsible and clean up after your dog.

Keep our dog park safe! If you see bad behavior or things happening in the park that shouldn’t please call 911 to report it. Of course you can always reach out to RUFF with any concerns at: INFO@RUFFBoston.org
