Finesse Pastries Now Open at the Boston Public Market

Finesse Pastries, a gourmet patisserie based in Manchester, New Hampshire, is now open at the Boston Public Market. The patisserie — located right off the Market Hub — will sell a variety of authentic, handcrafted French macarons and pastries.

Finesse Pastries ran a successful pop-up at the Boston Public Market in 2016 and applied for a permanent space after quickly becoming popular among Market shoppers.

“The Boston Public Market affords us the unique opportunity to incorporate locally sourced and grown ingredients so that we can offer high quality, handcrafted French macarons,” said Chelsey Erickson, pastry chef and owner of Finesse Pastries.

Erickson wasted no time taking advantage of her new surroundings, partnering with several Market vendors to expand her menu. During her time as a pop-up vendor, she created new macarons featuring Taza Chocolate Tazatella, Crescent Ridge Eggnog, and Boston Honey Company Japanese Knotweed Honey. Erickson sold just under 10,000 macarons in her one-month pop-up at the Boston Public Market in December.

Finesse Pastries offers a wide assortment of French macarons, with rotating seasonal flavors accompanying staples such as Vanilla Bean, Salted Caramel, and Pistachio. All of their macarons are gluten-free and made entirely from scratch, with an increasing number of vegan options. Currently their pastries are produced in Manchester, but Erickson plans to move production to her stall at the Boston Public Market. You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Finesse Pastries to the Boston Public Market as a permanent vendor,” said Cheryl Cronin, CEO of the Boston Public Market. “Chelsey has already proven to be a collaborative member of the Market community; we are excited to support the growth of her business and provide a forum for her to continue creating high quality French macarons with a New England twist.”
