The holiday event season continues throughout the North End Steriti Rink was the sight for the 8th annual Santa Skate & Toy Drive, sponsored and organized by the North End Columbus Day Celebration Committee.
Loads of toys, winter clothes, and money were collected while holiday classics played during the free skating event. A raffle with several prizes also helped contribute to the cause, with all cash and toys going to the Italian Home for Children. Toys piled in along with kids who laced up their skates to get on the ice! Santa was in high demand from those who were eagerly looking forward to Christmas day.
