North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) Sherri Snow is a finalist in SPARK Boston, Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s millennial engagement program, Impact Awards.
She has been nominated by the general public in the category of Community Building and Neighborhood Improvements for her leadership role in the non-profit organization.
Two other finalist are also eligible in this category and fifteen total in several categories.
“The finalists are settling the standard for Boston’s next-generation of civic leadership,†said Mayor Walsh in a press release.
Sherri has promoted arts, culture and teaching in the North End for many years in a leadership role, and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make the neighborhood a better place. She has already made a significant impact in the North End/Waterfront area.
An online round of voting will determine the winners in each category. The winners and finalists will be honored at a ceremony to be held on December 1.
