The arrival of Santa Claus by helicopter at Puopolo Park on Commercial Street will kick off the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) 46th annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 11 at 1 PM. (Rain date: December 18)
Santa will greet everyone once he is officially on the ground and proceed to his fire truck chariot for a parade spreading the holiday spirit through the North End streets. Many popular characters will join Santa and all the families that will participate in the popular event.
The parade is dedicated in memory of James “Jimmy†Pallotta.
The parade is held in association with the Taste of the North End, Nazzaro Community Center, North End Against Drugs and the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events.
           District A1 Boston Police will provide security throughout the special event which attracts hundreds of participants.
