Mayor Martin J. Walsh joined hundreds of North End residents and local elected officials, Senator Joe Boncore, Representative Aaron Michlewitz and Councilor Sal LaMattina at the Coast Guide Base to commemorate the accomplishments of Italian Americans throughout history and their viable contributions to the City of Boston’s culture and growth.
The Italian American Heritage Luncheon was hosted by the Mayor and organized with the help of the Coast Guard Base, city staff and many others.
