NEMPAC Presents Free Summer Concerts at Columbus Park

North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) will hold its upcoming and very popular 15th anniversary summer performance season during the month of July at Christopher Columbus Park on Atlantic Avenue.

The free concerts are held on Thursday nights in July from 6:30 to 8pm.

Children’s programming will be provided by I Am Books each evening from 6 to 8pm.

Summer concerts are supported by NorthEndBoston.com, My Summer in the City, Boston Parks and Recreation Departments, Andrea and Arthur Waldstein and the Boston Cultural Council.

NEMPAC encourages all local residents and their families to attend the concerts and enjoy the entertainment and the beautiful park that overlooks Boston Harbor.

Concert Schedule:

• July 7: Old-Timey Classics Jukebox: Songs of the Golden Age of Stage and Screen (Rain location: Saint Stephen’s Church).
• July 14: Jazz Night with Sounds of Italy: Scanzonati (Rain location: Saint Stephen’s Church)
• July 21: Swing Favorites in the Park: Eight to the Bar (Rain date/location: Tues. July 26, The Prado).
• July 28: Traditional Irish Quartet: The Ivy Leaf (Rain location: Saint Stephen’s Church).

Concerts are held on Thursday Nights in July from 6:30 to 8pm.
