Paul Revere Memorial Association Receives NEWRA Good Neighbor Award

By Phil Orlandella

Paul Revere Memorial Association in North Square, which offers free access to North End residents, has been selected by the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) as the recipient of its Good Neighbor Award.

The award is presented monthly to residents, businesses or organizations like the Revere House by helping to keep the North End clean by removing debris from sidewalks and curbs on a regular basis.

“Cleaning up in North Square is an everyday thing by the Revere House,” said Janet Gilardi of NEWRA. “They do a terrific job helping to keep the North End clean and beautiful.”

Gilardi noted that residents or the business community should notify NEWRA if they feel anyone in the neighborhood is deserving of the Good Neighbor Award.
