MBTA Completes Government Station Reconstruction on Time and Under Budget

The MBTA recently opened the new Government Center Station after two-years of reconstruction for a fully accessible, safer, modern and a more comfortable facility.

Completed on time and under budget, the project represents another step forward as the MBTA works to improve the core system for commuters by connecting City Hall and Government Center.

The Government Center project is all it was made out to be and the MBTA remained on track right up to the opening day.
