Drugs is not a four-letter word but it should be.
Single-handedly, drug usage is destroying neighborhoods at an alarming pace and there seems to be no real answer to controlling the major problem that will simply not go away.
City, State and Federal programs do not appear to be working as they are intended to do, even though an honest attempt is being made to deal with this deadly and crime related issue.
However, all the programs and monies shelled out to resolve this epidemic has not deterred the overwhelming use of drugs.
Combating this devastating plague is not an easy task but some new ideas need to be developed or the problem will continue forever.
Drug abuse affects all of us in one way or another.
