Vision Zero Action Plan A 10

Once in place, Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s Vision Zero Action Plan will help save lives and injuries by focusing on implementing street design changes that should make a great difference.

Motor vehicles and other transportation-related crashes are a leading cause of death in Boston. The Mayor’s plan is geared toward reducing this number.

Serious injuries and fatalities resulting from traffic crashes are clearly preventable through effective policies, engineering, community engagement and enforcement. The Mayor’s plan appears to accomplish this.

Boston’s Vision Zero Action Plan is supported by the Boston Police Commissioner, Boston’s Emergency Medical Services, Boston Health Commission, Boston Public Works and numerous other agencies and organizations.

Boston’s Vision Zero Action Plan is a 10!
