C.A.S.IT. Inc. (Centro Attivita’ Scolastiche Italiane) in cooperation with the Eliot K-8 Innovation School and the Office of the Italian Consulate finished the first week of an Italian Immersion Summer Camp. Maria Gioconda Motta, President of C.A.S.IT. Inc., and Traci Walker Griffith, Principal of the Eliot hosted this innovative camp for the third time.
Students, ages 4-10, participate in daily foreign language learning at the Eliot Upper School, located at 585 Commercial Street. The camp immerses students in Italian through lessons in reading, writing, music, visual arts, and more. The daily lessons are incredibly engaging, providing opportunities for hands-on, energizing activities that explore Italian culture. The students look forward to the final week of the program, where they will study the language and culture of Italy through theater, cooking, and more!
