Praises Simboli Commentary

Dear Editor

We are grateful to Marie Simboli for her heartfelt and candid exposure of the behind-the-scenes maneuvering of NEWNC and the workings of its closed executive sessions beyond public view. Council members’ motives have been purposely cloaked by their refusal to fill a vacant seat with an otherwise-qualified runner-up candidate and failing to disclose the rationale to constituents.

North Enders are all too frequently reminded that NEWNC is an authentic expression of representative government on behalf of the neighborhood.

So much for transparency. So much for representative government.

Thomas Schiavoni,

North End
