Sidewalk Signs Public Hearing Scheduled

Sponsored by Boston City Councilor Michael F. Flaherty, the Council’s Special Committee on Small Businesses, Entrepreneurship and Innovation has scheduled a public hearing to discuss the pros and cons of free-standing sidewalk signs in the neighborhoods.

The hearing comes in response to apparent confusion around the varying regulations that are governed in current zoning code, which reportedly differs on neighborhoods, business districts and sub-districts.

The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, July 23 at 2pm in the Council Chambers.
