Mayor Plans to Deal with Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking throughout the country and Boston needs some serious attention to put an end to this heinous crime that poses health safety, economic and health risks.

The Regional Review applauds Boston Mayor Martin Walsh for reinforcing his commitment to combating sex trafficking through comprehensive demand reduction and prevention, as well as awareness.

Mayor Walsh, along with 35 mayors from across the country signed a resolution calling for aggressive anti-trafficking intentions to end demand for sex buying.

Apparently, a human trafficking crisis is plaguing some communities in Boston and the city should be raising awareness working toward allocating much needed resources to victims and survivors to put an end to trafficking sooner than later.

It appears that the mayor has a plan to continue to seek justice, keep neighborhoods safe and provide programming to help those who have been affected.

This crime needs to be removed from society.
