Baseball Opening Day Ceremony a Grand Slam

Martignetti family, friends and elected officials were on the mound at Langone Field for the NEAA Baseball Opening Day Program. Trinity Martignetti tossed out the first pitch kicking off the NEAA Baseball Program.

Needless to say, this season’s North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Baseball Opening Day was another huge success. A Grand Slam at that.

Hundreds of family, friends and neighbors turned out for the all day schedule of games, two Majors and three Minor League games.

A free barbecue was enjoying and a terrific raffle with lots of prizes was held.

The 2015 Opening Day was dedicated to North Ender Ralph Martignetti who was a Little League coach for many years.
