Edward Jones to Host Open House in New North End Office

Financial services firm Edward Jones announced plans to hold an open house April 30 in its newly-established Boston office as a way of introducing the firm to the community.  The open house at 77 North Washington Street, Suite 100, is scheduled for 4-7 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting at 5 p.m. and refreshments available during the event.

The new office is part of Edward Jones’ effort to serve a growing number of individual investors in urban communities nationwide.  Individuals interested in a career as a financial advisor with the firm are also invited to attend to learn more about Edward Jones’ plan to increase its presence in the city.

“We are excited to become a part of Boston’s North End, a vibrant area with a great future,” said Hans Asoera, Edward Jones financial advisor and area leader in New England.  “Our goal is to serve a larger number of Boston investors who value the face-to-face relationships that are core to the firm’s way of doing business.  As we grow, we’ll be hiring additional financial advisors who fit our culture and who are passionate about getting to know clients and helping them work toward their financial objectives.”

Two financial advisors — Jack McCarthy and Alex Barberis – are currently located in the North End branch office with space for an additional financial advisor.

Edward Jones currently employs more than 100 in the greater Boston area in more than 50 branch offices with a goal of increasing to 70 branches by 2020.  The other Edward Jones branch office in Boston proper is located in Back Bay at 419 Boylston Street, Suite 702.

Edward Jones is nationally recognized as a best place to work and leader in delivering top-notch training to new and existing financial advisors. In 2015,
