State Representative Aaron Michlewitz is consistently moving his way up the ladder in the House.
The legislator, whose district includes the North End, has been appointed to his third chairmanship position on the Hill.
House Speaker Robert DeLeo has named Michlewitz as, chairman of the Joint Committee on Financial Services for the next two legislative sessions.
He has previously served as Chair of the Public Service Committee and Chair of the Election Laws Committee.
The position, is an important one, as it deals with the banking and insurance industries throughout the state, which are some of the leading businesses in the Commonwealth.
The Joint Committee or Financial Services is widely considered one of the more influential committees at the State House.
Michlewitz fully appreciates the importance of the Committee and has already begun tackling the numerous issues relating to banks, banking institutions, credit unions, insurance companies, insurance, including motor vehicle insurance, small loans and many other related issues.
