NEWRA Parks and Open Space Committee to Discuss Cutillo Park

Several issues relating to the North End will be discussed at the next North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) Parks and Open Spaces Committee monthly meeting.

Some of the topics will include the status of Paul Revere Mall (Prado) and what plans does the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department have to tackle the many problems that exist in the public place, especially lighting and the deterioration of the bricked ground.

Discussions will also take place on the current conditions of Cutillo Memorial Park, named for a North End veteran.

Over the course of their the committee plans to address several other parts and open spaces.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 3 at 7pm in the Mariners House, 11 North Square, 2nd Floor.

            All residents and the business community are welcome to attend and express opinions, make suggestions or join the committee.
