North End Family Pride Week Has Something for Everyone

During the week of Monday, August 4 to Sunday, August 10 North End Against Drugs (NEAD) will conduct its 25th annual North End Family Pride Week at various venues throughout the North End, cumulating with the North End Family Pride Day on Sunday, August 10 at Langone Field.

The seven day community event has become a tradition with hundreds of local residents and others attending and enjoying something during the week.

There are many things scheduled with something for everyone to do including: live entertainment, a puppet show, a magician, a boat cruise, National Night Out, a family movie night, a jamboree, a senior citizen concert and pizza party, a women’s all star game, a family night at the Prado, Little League Family Game, a baseball tournament, a bocce tournament, a DJ, a Street Magic Acappella performance, a kids talent show, an art contest and much more.

All the activities are free due to donations from many individuals, businesses and elected officials.

It’s a great week of fun and activities that residents and their families should attend at least one event hopefully more of the scheduled events.
