Opening Day for the 2014 North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Little League and Minor League programs will be held at Langone Field, Commercial Street on Saturday, April 26 with a double-double header and a T-Ball game.
“Each team in both programs will play games through the day,” NEAA Baseball Coordinator John Romano said. “Besides baseball games there will be other activities. A raffle will also be held.”
Romano encourages “North End residents to attend opening day to support and watch the plays to their thing.”
The NEAA is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization that has been providing recreational, civic and educational programs in the community for over 50 years.
The organization also works with other neighborhood groups to provide activities, field trips and other community programs.
