State Senator Anthony Petruccelli and State Representative Aaron Michlewitz held a North End Town Hall style public meeting in the Nazzaro Community Center.
Both elected officials presented a complete update on current legislation including the Bottle Bill and Election Reform. Several other bills were also discussed and explained.
However, a large part of the meeting evolved around basic neighborhood issues regarding trash, development projects, parking and much more.
Holding public forums like this is an important way of enlighten residents of major legislation pending on Beacon Hill as well as advising the community of their active involvement working with Councilor Sal LaMattina to address community related issues.
Taking the time to provide the community with information and a commitment to be in the front row when the chips are down was well received by North End residents.
