It’s Election Crunch Time

Now that the September Primary is over, the residents of Boston have less candidates to vote for in the November final election.

The mayoral race has been cut down to two candidates. Voters can only cast one ballot to elect the city’s top person.

The At-Large Boston City Councilor contest has been reduced to eight finalist. Voters can vote for up to four candidates who will secure seats.

District One, which includes the North End/Waterfront community, has two candidates remaining. Voters can only vote for one candidate.

All of these candidates have worked very hard to get into the finals and deserve a good voter turnout.

This is crunch time, as those elected will become the voices of the City of Boston and its registered voters who will say who those candidates should be.

It would be terrific if Boston voters turned out in record numbers to elect their public officials.
