North End Chamber of Commerce guest speaker Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis received a standing ovation at the business communities monthly meeting for his outstanding job as Boston’s top-cop and for his solid efforts during the unfortunate Boston Marathon bombing incident.
The commissioner spoke mainly regarding public safety in the North End, including the business community.
On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, Commissioner Davis was presented a plaque recognizing his dedicated service to the North End and its businesses.
Chamber members also got a first-hand presentation by TD Garden President Amy Latimer related to plans to develop a major project in the North Station Area.
