It appears that the North End Chamber of Commerce is moving forward in the direction of a diversified business group to promote the community in many ways, both in a business point of view and with a good working community relations agenda.
The Regional Review has noted on several occasion that community residents, groups and the business community need to establish a bigger and better relationship on equal ground.
Residents need to understand that North End businesses are here to stay and may even expand.
The business community needs to realize that the neighborhood is flooded with restaurants, bars, lounges and other types of business and need to recognize that residents need their space and quality of life issues.
No one said this would be an easy task but it’s certainly worth an honest effort.
