Friends of The North End Parks are residents and other interested citizens who want the dream of beautiful parks to become a reality.
Their goals are to beautify the parks so the community has world class gardens, engage the community so they can enjoy being involved in their parks and create a space that the neighborhood will love, support and enjoy.
North End residents were impacted by the Big Dig in a big way and were promised world class gardens which are currently horticultural uninteresting and barren in places.
These parks have not been improved since the Expressway was removed and the Transportation Department installed the current infrastructure.
The Friends want to make the Greenway Parks as beautiful and comfortable as they can and should be.
The group needs help to create beautiful gardens and is seeking members to attend meetings and to participate in horticultural planning and planting.
