Billy Tse Restaurant, 240 Commercial Street, has received approval from the Licensing Board of the City of Boston to open a 20 seat outdoor patio with a closing time of 12 midnight.
The two North End community groups were split on this request.
By a vote of 5-3, the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) voted to support the outdoor patio request.
On the other hand the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) opposed the restaurant’s request by a 18-19 vote.
