Two New North End Businesses Approved

The City of Boston Board of Appeal has approved a request to open a Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt store with take-out at 285 Hanover Street.

NE Frog Pond LLC will operate the business until 11pm on weekdays and 12 midnight on weekends.

In addition, the Board approved a request by Alvaro Sandoval to open a Mexican Restaurant “Tenoch” at 1-3 Louis Street formerly Nick’s Tavern.

Plans call for a 22 seat eatery with the hours of operation from 11am to 11pm seven days a week.

Both community groups NEWRA and NEWNC opposed the Mexican Restaurant but supported the Yogurt store.
