Vehicles Need to Be Moved for Street Cleaning to Be Effective

Due to weather related issues, the Department of Public Works (DPW) was forced to delay the North End Mechanical Street Cleaning program. The delay left the local streets in deplorable condition, through no fault of DPW.

Currently, the street cleaning program is underway and beginning to make a clear difference. The program will continue through December, weather permitting, and residents need to move their vehicles at the designated time for the cleaning program to be effective.

Working with DPW, North End streets will be cleared of debris and other items that are an eye sore  and attract rodents.

DPW is prepared to keep the North End streets clean but they could use a little help to do so.
