Residents Need to Attend MassDOT Public Meeting

A very important public meeting regarding the MassDOT owned Callahan Tunnel Vent Building on North Street will be held tomorrow Wednesday, March 27 at 6pm in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.

At this meeting both MassDOT and the contractor will present and explain the much needed rehabilitation project that will have some impact on the neighborhood.

While MassDOT has already conducted a community public meeting several months ago advising residents why the project is necessary, abutters and other residents need to be at the meeting not only to pick-up all the project information, but to express opinions if need be.

It appears the contractor and the state agency have put together a plan that will work for everyone.
