The Big Chill

The Nazzaro Center ski program went to Loon Mountain recently.

Freezing temperatures, snow accumulation and forecasts for more of the same might have most people shutting in until spring, but for the Nazzaro Center ski program, winter weather is wonderful.  The center, in partnership with the North End Athletic Assoc. (NEAA) and Youth Enrichment Services (YES) has just returned from a trip to Loon Mountain and plans on at least three other trips (including a week-end overnighter to Killington).  For a mere $25, these three organizations collaborate to provide any Nazzaro member with a full day of skiing, or boarding, complete with an all inclusive package of services.  Beside a lift ticket, which alone on a major mountain might cost a child $65 or more, rental equipment, including a helmet, and a lesson are included as well as all transportation on a luxury coach bus!  The only thing not including is the food.

Our next trip is scheduled for Feb 23 so if you are interested, sign up now.  For more information you can call the Nazzaro Center at 617-635-5166 and ask for Carl
