Charles Vitale

Late Proprietor of Puritan Fish

Charles J. Vitale of Revere, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on January 6.

The late proprietor of Puritan Fish Co., Boston Fish Pier and a member of the Madonna Del Soccorso Fishermans Club, he was the beloved husband of Rita (D’Ortona) Vitale with whom he shared 56 years of marriage; loving father of Charles J. Vitale, Jr. and his companion, Debbie, of Lynn, Patricia Cameron and her husband, Dan of Reading and Maria Cannatella and her companion, John Serven of Peabody; father in law of Cindy Vitale of Medford and John Cannatella of Salem, NH; dear brother of Salvatore Vitale of Revere, Antonetta Wozniak of Medford and many other late siblings. He was the cherished grandfather of John Jr., and Joseph Cannatella, Christopher. Gregory and Stephanie Carmeron and Darla Vitale and is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, Revere. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. For guest book and directions, www.vazzafunerals.com
