Pasquale ‘Pat’ Lochiatto

Member of BC College Hall of Fame and Boston English Hall of Fame for Track and Field;

Selected to Compete in 1956 Olympics,

Former Proprietor of E.B. Lumber Yard

Pasquale A. “Pat” Lochiatto of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on January 3.

A graduate of Boston College, Class 1955, he was  a U.S. Army veteran and the former proprietor of E. B. Lumber Yard. “Pat” was inducted into  the Boston College Hall of Fame for Track and Field in 1992 and the Boston English Hall of Fame for Track and Field in 1994. He was also selected  to compete in the 1956 Olympics.

He was the beloved husband of more than 51 years of Louise (Bellofatto) Lochiatto; devoted father of Anthony and his wife, Carmen of the North End of Boston, Daria Romano and her husband, Kurt of Revere, Maria Sorkin and her husband, Scott of Virginia and Joseph Lochiatto of Boston; dear brother of JoAnn Fuller of Melrose and the late Anthony Lochiatto;  cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Nina, Alexander, Jason, Elena, Anthony E. and Victor and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St.  (Orient Heights) East Boston  onTuesday  January 8 at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of The Assumption Church, 660 Washington St., Revere  at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Robert Sparks

Of Revere

Robert T. Sparks of Revere died on December 31.

He was the beloved father of Alison Nagy and her husband, Andrew; loving grandfather of Gia, Drew and Lexi Nagy and former husband of Andrea (Procopio) Sparks, all of Revere; son of the late Harold and Phyllis (DeMarco) Sparks of Boston’s North End; dear brother of Harold (Buddy) Sparks and his partner, Rita Warner of Saugus, Patricia Melchionda of Palm Coast, Florida, Richard Sparks and his wife, Sharon of Bucksport, Maine, and the late Edmund and Michael Sparks. He also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.
