Sandra DeLuca

North End Resident

Sandra C. DeLuca of the North End of Boston died on August 27.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Nick and Viola (Luisi) DeLuca and loving sister of Anthony N. DeLuca of the North End of Boston.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Leonard’s Church, Boston (North End) Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Arrangements were by the Cincotti Funeral Home, Medford. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Leonard’s Church, 14 North Bennett St., Boston, MA 02113.

Leonarda ‘Nora’ Mistretta

North End Resident

Leonarda “Nora” Mistretta of Boston’s North End died on August 27. She was 82 years old.

She was the beloved daughter of Matteo and Maria Mistretta; loving sister of Mary and the late Catherine and Angelina, She leaves her nephews Joseph and Matthew Favale of East Boston, her niece Maria Ruggiero of Malden, and William, Judy, Matthew and Elaine Morrow of New Jersey and is also survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.

Theresa Lous Stack

Home Health Aide

Theresa Lous Stack, a 40-year resident of Revere, died at home on August 24 following a brief illness. She was 66 years old.

Born in Boston, she lived in Boston’s North End until she was four years old when the family moved in 1949 to Jamaica Plain and then to Revere in 1972. For more than 18 years, she worked as a Home Health Aide for Malden Home services.

The beloved wife of 47 years of John F. Stack, she was the cherished daughter of Olga M. (Turino) Skelton of Revere and the late Edwin M. Skelton; devoted mother of Bryan E. Stack of Birmingham, Alabama and Kimberly Beaupre and her husband, Bryan of Derry, NH; the dear twin sister of Malesa Lou Fagone and her husband, Richard of Revere and is also lovingly survived by her grandchildren, Sarah E. and Victoria G. Stack of Birmingham, Alabama and Brennah, Kyle and Brayden Beaupre, all of Derry, NH.

Funeral Arrangements were by the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, Revere. Entombment was in Holy Cross Community Mausoleum of Malden. Frank Imbornone

Worked for Boston Naval Shipyard

Frank J. Imbornone died in Tamarac, Florida on August 20. He was 90 years old.

Born on January 10, 1922 in Boston’s North End, one of eight children of the late Accursio and Filomenia Imbornone, his parents moved to Everett in 1930. He attended Everett Schools and graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1940 and Northeastern University. He worked for the Boston Naval Shipyard for about 38 years and served his country in both World War II in the US Army and in the Massachusetts National Guard. Ballroom dancing, bridge, computer courses, and making friends were Frank’s passions.

He was the beloved husband of Frances Weisman (Burke) and the late Rosella (Collucci) who predeceased him in 1995. He was the brother of Angelo of Georgetown, Josephine of Everett and the late Catherine Mignet, Theresa Sirigano, Anna Bouvier,  Dominic and Salvatore Imbornone. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held from the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home  with Reverend David Meskill officiating.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
