The Mendoza family, all North End residents, have applied to the Licensing Board to add cordials to the existing malt and wine license at Trattoria di Monica, 67 Salem Street.
The request also asks to extend the business operating hours from 11am to 12 midnight on weekends.
Each year the Mendoza family conducts a major fundraiser for the Eliot School that results in a $20,000 donation from each event.
Dr. Akhy Kahn has filed an appeal for zoning relief at 536 Commercial Street to construct a larger head house and a 27 foot by 21 foot roof deck. The building was recently converted to a single family home.
Anthony Bova has filed an appeal for zoning relief at 7 Baldwin Place to change the legal occupancy of the building from five residential apartments to six residential apartments, adding a one-story addition to the building, not to exceed 55 feet. Some abutters have already expressed concerns about light, air and views.
