Edward G. Hakim  of Boston’s North End died on February 8. He was 97 years old.
The beloved son of the late Rose (Nassin) and Thomas Hakim, he was the loving husband for 65 years of Madeline (Etienne) Hakim; cherished father of Leona Morella and her husband, Anthony, Simone Sudalter and her husband, Melvyn, and the late Thomas Hakim; loving grandfather of Michelle and her husband, Michael Connors, Leann and her husband, Andrew Perlman, Alison and her husband, Matt Morello, Michael Morella, and Lindsey and her husband, Dr. Adam Polivy; great-grandfather of Leah, Elysheva, Jake, and Shoshana. Services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Boston Harborside Home J.S.
