The Patriots

There is no way to describe the sense of loss we all feel having watched the Patriots go down in the Super Bowl. Were the Giants really better than us? We don’t think so.

There is no crime in being the runner-up in the National Football League. Just getting there should be enough, we suppose.

However, the Patriots are now facing the uncertainty of next year in the knowledge that something must be done to create a team that once again captures the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Winning is what the game is all about. There really isn’t anything else.
