NEWRA Committee to Address 4 Requests

Four items of request are scheduled for discussion at the next NEWRA Zoning, Licensing and Construction Committee meeting, according to co-chair David Kubiak.

In addition, the committee will present brief updates on five matters of concern.

The agenda will include the following:

Laz Parking is seeking renewal of its condition use permit at the parking lot at 280-292 Commercial Street.

Paul Barker of Paulie’s 65 Salem Street is seeking approval to remove the proviso attached to the existing conditional approval of take-out restaurant use.

Robert Griffin has filed an appeal for a zoning variance to expand the living space at 9 Noyes Place into the basement.

Robert DelloRusso has filed an appeal for conditional use approval to add accessory uses of body art and tanning for the existing Barber Shop at 113-113A Salem Street, Boston Barber Company.

Brief Updates:

City’s (re)consideration of standard for closing business windows for noise control.

Development guidelines and proposed uses at Central Artery Parcels 7 & 9.

Bulfinch Triangle development projects and neighborhood supermarket.

Disposition of the City of Boston Printing Building on North Street.

Streamlining ZLC Reviews and associated NEWRA votes.

The next meeting will be held at the Pilot House, 2 Atlantic Avenue on Tuesday, December 27 at 7pm.
