The Columbus Day Parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday October 9 following the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park’s annual family friendly activities at the park.
The parade will begin about 1:00 p.m., following a brief ceremony and wreath laying by Mayor Menino at the statue of Columbus.
The parade, which begins at the park, will meander through the streets of the North End and will finish on Endicott Street.
