North End Against Drugs, the Nazzaro Community Center and several donors made it possible for fourteen local students to receive scholarships to help with their all important education.
The awards were announced through a raffle held at the Center following a musical concert by the Nazzaro Center’s Band under the direction of Jeremy Sarzana.
“It was a great occasion with terrific entertainment by the Center’s Band and refreshments were provided by the Pizzeria Regina and Mike “Fud” Giannasoli,” NEAD President John Romano said.
Scholarships were presented to: Paul Bruno, Mikayla Romano, Anthony Coppola, Michele DiPrizio, Jacob Gunderson, Peter Shea, Colman Shea, Helena Fountas, Antonio Romano, Maria Fountas, Ezio Salimbeni and Nicholas Mustacchio.
