NEWRA is a neighborhood volunteer group that addresses issues and requests that directly affect the community.
The non-profit group meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.
NEWRA is also made up of several committees, Clean Streets, Zoning, Licensing and Construction, Parks and Open Spaces and Executive.
The community group has five officers who serve a maximum of two-years as do committee chairs.
To renew membership or become a new member, download the membership form from the NEWRA website www.newra.com, complete the form and send it to the address noted along with the annual membership dues, $10 per member.
Renewals and new memberships can take place at the next NEWRA Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 9.
Membership runs from January to December.
