Teens raise funds to battle Breast Cancer

Members of the Nazzaro Community Center Teen Program, under the direction of one of the parents

Captain Roseann Romano, spent the better part of October planning a fundraiser for the "Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure" endeavor to help battle breast cancer.

The group raised $2,200, about $800 short of their goal, by hosting a bake and craft sale (items made by Center staff) and a raffle during the ROC/NEAD/Nazzaro Center Halloween Bash held in Polcari Playground.

The team is asking any individuals or organizations who would like to help them reach their goal of $3000 with a donation of any amount.

Checks can be mailed or delivered to the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street, Boston, MA 02113. Checks should be made out to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
