One of the most popular and beautiful areas to go to any day of the week, is the Christopher Columbus Park on Atlantic Avenue in the North End.
Visitors and local residents can always be found taking photos, viewing the harbor, sun bathing, jogging, relaxing, participating in park entertainment and activities or visiting the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Rose Garden.
While a public place, Columbus Park has the benefit of a neighborhood group looking after it.
Friends of Christopher Columbus Park are a dedicated and very active organization that oversees the welfare of this well used park.
