Barbara Assenzo

Of New Hampshire, formerly of the North End

Barbara P. Assenzo of Nashua, NH, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on May 17.

She was a very loving and giving person who made a difference in all the lives she touched.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Benjamin and Phyllis (Rossetti) Assenzo; dear sister of Joseph “Bob” Assenzo and his wife, Pat, of Arizona, Dennis Assenzo and his wife, Jean, of North Carolina, Brenda A. Fennessey of Jamaica Plain and her late husband, Walter M. Fennessey, and the late Audrey Kelley and her late husband, Frank; devoted aunt to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Eva Plagenza

Resident of Boston’s North End

Eva F. (Flammia) Plagenza of the North End of Boston died on May 14.

She was the beloved wife of Leo S.; mother of Roberta Aiello and her husband, Lenny, of Missouri and Antonette LaRosa of Everett; sister of Jennie Gonchar of Somerville, Dorothy Arrigo of Winthrop, the late Michael, Frank, Frances Rigolino and Anna Catalano and is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Vincenza ‘Chinzi’ Paparo

Longtime North End resident

Vincenza “Chinzi”Paparo, a long time resident of Boston’s North End, died on May 10. She was 86 years old.

The beloved wife of the late Domenic Paparo, she was the cherished daughter of the late Pasquale and Lauretta Carabissi; dear sister of Doris DeStefano of Boston and New York and the late Ella, Josephine, and Ann; and the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
